About the Artist

My experience as an artist spans 45 years. I grew up in Los Altos California and raised a family of four children in San Jose, California. While raising the family I took a wide variety of workshops all based in textiles. My attention was drawn to basketry and I helped form the Bay Area Basketry Guild, which continues to thrive with over a hundred members today. When my youngest child turned one I decided to pursue a formal art education in order to gain a solid foundation in art principals and techniques.  I  went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting and a Masters of Fine Arts degree in spatial arts from San Jose State University in San Jose, California in 1993. Print Making has been my focus for the last eight years and it stand on the shoulders of years of exploration in several art practices.

My work has been exhibited nationally and purchased by corporate and private collectors. Major Corporate acquisitions  include; Progressive Corp, Kaiser Permanente Hospitals, Commerce Bank Of Colorado, Buena Vista Library and Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center. Exhibition involvement includes San Jose Museum of Art, Apple Computer, California Crafts Museum, University of Southern Colorado, Paquette Gallery, Salida CO, National Small Print Show,  Creede Arts Council and the Durango Arts Center. I am currently represented by cultureclash, Salida,
